I was expecting close shooting so mounted my Vivitar (Kiron) 20/3.8. Certainly not one of my sharper lenses & now I wish I had used my Vivitar Cosina) 24/2.8 which is much sharper. However you can still get a feel of the street.

    1. What would a tater festival be without french fries or chips as they call them in the UK.

I was there with son Mark & his friend who had weather sealed cameras but mine is not so it went into a plastic bag after this shot.

Nice street shots Ron. Overcast skies probably help with color saturation.

Nice atmospheric street shots - in Australia they're "chips" too, yeah, I know, i know, Maccas and Hungry Jacks list them as fries and are trying to edumutate us into ordering 'fries' but everyone always (for about the last 40years or so) orders 'chips' - dunno why they persist with this fries thing :D

Like your street shots, Ron. The lens worked very well, I think. Which BBQ did you like the best?

Only split a tray of fries with Mark. They must have been fried in lard, they were so good.
