The Egg Run, Wirral, Merseyside, UK http://www.wirraleggrun.co.uk (I'm not sure why, but the link button is greyed-out.)

The Egg Run was started in 1981 as a charity run to give and deliver Easter eggs to a local children's hospital. Originally there were just twenty bikes, now a few thousand take part and it has become one of the biggest meetings of its type.

The bike in Peter's shots must be set up for drag racing with that length of swinging arm. I can only presume that as a road bike he takes corners vverrryy carefully!

I remember watching the Junior - or was it the Senior - TT at the Guthrie Memorial and after sitting most of the day having mainly Manxes, G45s and 7Rs blatting past I had the most awful headache.

I post this shot somewhere else on this site, but since this is a thread for bikes, and since I have not seen any other springers, here is my girl Stardust. 2001 Heritage Classic Springer Softail
