    There was a time when every hibiscus seemed to be red. Purples I always like.

    I had never ever seen one this colour before with creamish white stamen its leaves are unlike a normal hibiscus - so it might be something entirely different..............?

    Purple or blue, depending on the light. I have the same effect with one of our Clematis.

    Even in the photo here some petals are purple and other parts deep blue - spectrum issue affected by light
